Q: I am not a literature student, can I still participate?
A: Yes, students from all backgrounds are eligible to participate in the competition.
Q: Can I write in any other language apart from English?
A: Permitted languages are English, Hindi and Urdu. No other language is permitted.
Q: What is the maximum word limit for the story?
A: In written format, a maximum of 1000 words are permitted. A buffer limit of +250 words is also permitted in case the content requires such extension.
Q: Is the competition open for professionals too?
A: Yes, the competition is open to all.
Q: In case of a recital, what file format can be submitted?
A: An .mp3 (only audio) or an .mp4 (video) file can be submitted in a recital format. We request the participants to adhere to a maximum time frame of 5min for the recital.
Q: Is there a prescribed resolution for audio/visual submission?
A: We recommend a video resolution of 1920x1080 (HD).
Q: Will there be a refund of registration amount in case of sudden withdrawal from the competition?
A: Registration money is non-refundable. In case anyone’s payment has failed then please write us a grievance mail at email@example.com
Q: Can there be a team participation?
A: No. We’ll appreciate individual game changers here.
Q: Are there additional charges for international student participation?
A: No. We are all inclusive. Same entry fee as per conversion rates.
Q: How will we know if the registration is successful?
A: An automated mail will be delivered on the mail given while registering.
Q: What is referral e-mail?
A: E-mail of the person who introduced you to the competition. Remember, referring has points. 1 referral shall have 1 point.
Q: I have registered, but haven’t received any confirmation of acceptance. What do I do?
A: Don’t worry we have it covered. Please write us a grievance mail at firstname.lastname@example.org
Q: Can an individual participant with two stories?
A: Yes. You’ll have to register separately for both the entries.
Q: When is the registration deadline?
A: Brief has date schedule. Please refer to the brief.
Q: Is there an entry fee?
A: Yes. Everything good comes with a price. Subtle though!
Q: The competition had to start at 00:00 hrs. Why is it not up yet?
A: We release the competition at 00:00 hrs IST. If you are in a different time-zone, then please check your standard time and recalibrate.
Q: Will there be an event for the competition of is it online?
A: No there is no venue based event for the competition. This is an online show buzz!
Q: What is the concept of ‘100 hours’?
A: Interesting. The brief shall be released on Oct’1st, 2019 at 00:00 Hrs and from that point onwards, each participant will be given 100 hours to think, write and submit the story. 100 hours is all you’ll have!
Q: When do you announce the winners?
A: Only after the deadline hour of the competition, another countdown of 100 hours will begin and within that period we shall judge the entries. The winner(s) will be announced after 100 hours of submission deadline.
Q: What are the rewards?
A: We are promising a prize pool of INR 5000 and it will be divided amongst the winners we choose. We will not choose more than 3 positions.
